i-mail
i-mode® offers you an impressive messaging tool called i-mail, which has all the great features of email.
You can send and receive i-mail with attachments just as you do with picture messages. If you receive a reply via i-mail to your mobile you'll receive an alert just like a text message.
If you send an i-mail to another mobile and their mobile cannot read view picture messages (MMS) don't worry, they'll just receive a text alert giving them details of how to view the full message on www.o2.co.uk or if its easier for both parties, why don't you just send your message directly to their email address instead?
Personalise your i-mail
Every i-mode phone comes with its own i-mail address, this is your mobile number @o2imail.co.uk i.e. 07123456789@o2imail.co.uk. You can change this address to whatever you like (as long as it's unique) simply by selecting 'i-mail settings' within 'my i-mode'.
i-mail pricing
If an i-mail or i-MMS is sent to more than one recipient (up to 5), you will only be charged for one message.
i-mail and i-MMS up to 2kb (approximately 500 characters of text, without an attachment):
FREE UNTIL 31st March 2008. Same price as a standard SMS thereafter.
i-mail and i-MMS larger than 2kb (with an attachment, or more than approximately 500 characters of text):
FREE UNTIL 31st March 2008. Same price as a standard MMS thereafter.
i-Mail and i-MMs will be included in standard Bolt On's from 31st March 2008
